Rolando Bueno Dalmau

Professor of piano / piano modern / latin rythms.

Composer and musical arranger.

Of Cuban and Spanish nationality, he graduated in Composition and Graduated in Piano and Orchestra Direction at the Higher Institute of Art of Havana, Cuba. He has a wide artistic background and professional experience, among which the following stand out:

· Adjunct Professor in the Chair of Harmony (National School of Art, Havana, Cuba.) Conducts various conferences of Music and Aesthetics to the main provincial leaders of culture and Houses of Culture of the provinces of Moscow and Minsk.
· Orchestra substitute conductor, titular pianist and arranger for more than 12 years in the prestigious and internationally known Tropicana Cabaret Orchestra of Havana. With this group he performs several international tours (Poland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Romania, Slovakia, Monaco, etc.) and shares the stage with musicians such as Geroge Benson, Astor Piazzola and Michel Legrand.
· Music Advisor to the Minister of Culture and nicaragüence poet, Ernesto Cardenal.
· Director of the Youth Orchestra at the Allegro School of Music, Madrid.
· Director and pianist of the Lyric Association of Zarzuelas de Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).

· Organist in the Cathedral of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), church of Rivas Vaciamadrid (Madrid) and various churches in Barcelona. It stands out here for its participation in weddings, baptisms, communions and religious festivities.
· Solo pianist in social and cultural events and events.

He has written music for film, theater, modern dance, chamber music, symphony, and various choral arrangements. Among his works include his musical Claraluna (almost 3 hours long and constituting the first Latin musical in the history of theatrical musicals), Preludes and pieces for piano, String Quartet No. 1, Variations for piano and orchestra and the band sound for the film Pages of the newspaper of José Martí (J. Massip). Renowned interpreters such as Gonzalo Rubalcaba have interpreted and recorded some of his piano works as CD as his third Piano Prelude, on his album "SOLOS". (EMI-Blue notes).

He has been awarded several prizes and recognitions awarded to some of his works and his career. An example is the award of the Medal of Artistic Merit of the Republic of Cuba; 1st National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba Composition Award (UNEAC); 2nd and 3rd prize of the contest "The Golden Age" of Children's Music, as well as various prizes in the national contest of Cuba "26 de Julio."
